The Residence
The VILLA DES INDES Private Residence is made up of two colonial individual villas, VILLA DES INDES I and II which can be rented out as a 2, 3 or 5 bedroom residence. A small gangway and private entrances separate the two colonial villas.

VILLA DES INDES I: 3 bedroom
Within VILLA DES INDES 1 there are three separate early 20th century style bungalows with oversize antique Balinese beds, en-suite grand bathrooms and tropical outdoor showers.
The Joglo is a peaceful centerpiece, an open-air living area that appears to be floating on water, surrounded by a 21-meter lagoon swimming pool that curves amidst the orchids and frangipanis.
Set off to the left side of the Joglo is a bar area, a perfect spot for an afternoon snack.
You will awake on Egyptian cotton sheets surrounded by one of Indonesia’s finest collection of antiques, wash in a pedestal washbasin or soak in a scented flower bath under an outdoor Indonesian bale.
Two of the bungalows have wide verandahs and den-libraries full of interesting books, attached to the bedrooms. The third bungalow has an upper open pavilion for sunset cocktails with adjacent butler's pantry and guest toilet. The open pavilion houses a traditional Javanese day bed and an old Chinese rocking chair, a perfect shady area to disappear into with a book. Complete with a kitchenette/butler’s pantry, this self-contained pavilion is perfect for friends sharing the residence.

VILLA DES INDES II: 2 bedroom
Within VILLA DES INDES II there is a two bedroom pavilion, interior décor and antiques in the same colonial style. Bathrooms house pedestal washbasins and tropical outdoor showers. The Joglo within this residence is an authentic Limasan Joglo from the Jogyakarta region of Java.
An outdoor relaxation bale is set within the Villa’s lush tropical garden and fringes the private swimming pool of the Villa, a perfect oasis of relaxation.
